Assessor: Carpentry and Joinery (Pontardawe College) 

To undertake work-place based assessment on behalf of the school of Construction and Built Environment.                 

Rate of pay: Scale 5, Points 25-28, £24,242 - £26,303 per annum.  

Hours of Work: 37 hours per week (including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends).

Contract: Full time, permanent.

Location: NPTC Group of Colleges (initially based at Pontardawe College)

Qualifications: Candidates must possess an NVQ Level 3/Advanced Craft qualification in Carpentry and Joinery and have relevant industrial experience.  You should hold a level 2 qualification in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent) and be IT literate equivalent to level 2.  An Assessor Award is essential.  Experience of fitting Fire Doors would be advantageous.
