We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our Digital and Computing team.  

As an Assessor Coach, you will be responsible for supporting Apprentices on our digital and computing programmes. Working with the curriculum team, this will involve liaising with apprentices and employers to organise workplace visits to complete a range of activities, including coaching, assessment and apprenticeship reviews. You will be required to support the curriculum team with planning/organising End Point Assessment which may include liaising with the relevant awarding bodies. You will also be expected to support 1:1/group training and Tutorial/Personal Development activities; develop competency in the use of the College’s e-portfolio so as to provide effective use by apprentices in the uploading of evidence as well as off the job training. You will also look for new opportunities for apprenticeships with providers.    

Ideally you would hold an assessing qualification but for the right candidate training will be provided. It is essential that you hold a level 3 or above qualification in a relevant vocational area, GCSE level qualifications or equivalent at Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths, and evidence of continued professional and personal development. You will also need experience of working in an industry setting, have excellent communication skills, enthusiasm and a flexible approach to hours
