Oaklands College, based in St Albans, Hertfordshire, are looking for an experience and qualified Assessor to join our successful Apprenticeship and Work Based Learning Team at the St Albans Campus.

Oaklands College are looking to recruit an outstanding assessor of Electrical Installation to join our team.  Oaklands College is an FE college with a large, growing and successful curriculum. The successful candidate would be required to assess Level 3 students studying Electrical Installation via work-based learning and apprenticeship programme delivery.

You should have a strong commitment to high standards of classroom practice and experience of assessing. Ideally, you will have experience of working with young people and should hold at least a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation. You will have a genuine regard for young people and want to work with us to ensure that all our students aspire to do well. You will demonstrate and professional standards in your area of work. The ability to work in a team is essential, sharing good practice and working collaboratively with colleagues are qualities that we will be looking for.

You should have a relevant sector background and ideally hold a formal Assessor qualification.

Due to the nature of the role you will be required to travel between various sites and employers in the Hertfordshire region; standard mileage rates will be paid.
