Hourly Paid Assessor/Internal Verifier – Teaching and Supporting Learning Qualifications

Salary £25.79 per hour

Our education, supporting learning and counselling qualifications offer a wide variety of pathways to employment within these in demand sectors.  You will be working within a pleasant and supportive environment of dedicated and caring professionals.  You will need to have a nationally recognised assessor or IQA qualification and appropriate qualifications and experience within the field of education and/or counselling.


As an assessor you will support learners in their transfer of knowledge to develop their evidence portfolios in preparation for assessment. You will need to be prepared to sometimes work outside of regular working hours, to meet the needs of the learners and employers. The role requires assessors to travel between work places and the College. As a lead IQA you will need to develop and support assessors by monitoring the activities of the assessors, ensuring they have time, resources and experience to carry out assessment duties and take appropriate action when they do not.
