West Met Skills has extensive experience of skills based training and as a newly merged group, are excited to be expanding their reach across west London in training people at all levels and responding to the needs of industry, particularly apprenticeships. 

We are seeking to appoint a part time Assessor/Lecturer to work closely with the wider West Met Skills teams to support the recruitment of learners and deliver high quality training.  You would be responsible for the training and assessment of Work Based Learning (WBL) learners, including Apprentices, at the College and at employer premises on various new management Apprenticeship Standards, delivering and assessing all elements as required.  These Standards currently include Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor and Level 5 Operations/Departmental Manager.

You will need to possess a degree in Management or a related subject, and will be a qualified and experienced assessor with a good understanding of apprenticeships. Teaching or training experience is highly desirable, and you should either possess or be willing to obtain an advanced level teaching qualification which will be supported financially in full by the College. This post will involve travelling to workplaces in London and surrounding areas and therefore a clean driving licence and own personal transport is essential.
