Job overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to deliver and assess NVQ and Apprenticeship qualifications in the workplace within retail organisations in South and East London, Sussex and Kent.  Ideally you will live and be based in South London/Kent.
 
You will perform the role of Assessor in accordance with awarding body guidelines and occupational assessment strategy and will carry out marketing activities, identify potential learners and deliver training when required. A1 or equivalent qualifications are essential to conduct the role.
 
The successful applicant will be self-motivated, highly flexible and adaptable and will be able to motivate and inspire confidence in others.  This role involves considerable travel and a full driving licence and your own transport are essential .

Derby College is a mixed, non-denominational, further education college, situated in the centre of Derby in Derbyshire. The college has 5,061 students enrolled on 16 to 19 study programmes, from entry level to level 3, including specialist vocational qualifications, and the more traditional AS and A Level programmes. 

The further education college delivers most of its provision at two main sites in the city centre. Between 2014 and 2017 it has invested around £200 million, generated from government grants, employer contributions and learners, to deliver its programme of education and skills training.
