Job overview

We are looking to recruit a dynamic, problem solving individual to support the Business Services Director in the strategic development and deployment of some of the business services (predominantly Estates and Health & Safety) across our new 22 school Multi-Academy Trust.

Responsible for ensuring the Trust and the individual academies within the Trust are compliant and operating best practice in relation to Estates, Health and Safety law, and the statutory and regulatory requirements of the DfE, Ofsted, Companies House and the Charities Commission, you will have extensive experience of working with large estates in a people –focussed environment.

Initially working for 2 days a week within one of the large secondary schools and 3 days a week across the rest of the Trust, you will support the maintenance programme of the Trust’s property portfolio together with the support services of catering and cleaning. Monitoring that the Trust properly discharges its duties under its Health and Safety Policy, the Health & Safety at Work Act and COSHH regulations, you will also project manage capital works across the schools.
