We have a fantastic opportunity at our OneSchool Global UK Nottingham Campus for a forward thinking, highly motivated and truly inspirational practitioner to be an Assistant Campus Principal. The role would suit someone looking to take their first step into senior leadership or an experienced leader, and you would be working with a supportive and aspirational team. 


The successful candidate will: 

• Be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a thorough understanding of Safeguarding and Learning Support

• Have Qualified Teacher Status (or regional equivalent) 

• Excellent and detailed understanding of current safeguarding procedures 

• Evidence of experience in raising achievement for the good of students 

• Understanding of SEND and experience in promoting the inclusion of all students 

• Have experience of working with learners of all abilities and enabling progression 

• Experience with pastoral and behaviour management of students 

• Adaptability to consistently move forward with curriculum and organisational changes 

• Ability to work as a leader within the wider OneSchool Global framework 

• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills demonstrating optimistic personal behaviour towards stakeholders 

• Lead by example in terms of work ethic, integrity, reliance, clarity and professional behaviour 

• Be a positive role model of professional practice and conduct 

• Highly organised, able to plan time effectively, meet deadlines and delegate appropriately 

• A positive role model of professional practice and conduct of others 

• Respect and promote the schools Ethos and Values

Key responsibilities:

• To lead safeguarding, child protection and online safety as Designated Safeguarding Lead and lead Learning Support as LSCO in the school, amongst other Senior Leadership Team responsibilities, reporting to the Campus Principal accordingly 

• To provide leadership and consistent support, direction and planning across the school to maintain excellent standards of student attainment and achievement 

• Provide day-to-day classroom leadership, inspiration and management, and maintain excellent teaching practice 

• Provide advice, support and training to staff on child welfare, safeguarding and child protection matters 

• Lead on referrals to other agencies when required 

• Maintain Child Protection files and store and manage information in a secure and confidential manner 

• To undertake the duties as Learning Support Coordinator for the campus to ensure students are supported and assessed appropriately, working effectively with internal and external stakeholders accordingly 

• Provide operational leadership of learning support on the campus, including line management, training and deployment of learning support staff and communication with campus colleagues and parents regarding the needs of the students 

• Work closely with the Campus Principal, Regional Learning Support Coordinator and Learning Support team to ensure individual student pastoral needs, including mental well-being are met 

• To be part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and undertake various leadership responsibilities and duties as directed by the Campus Principal 

• Ensure current high standards are maintained and progressed in all areas 

• Support, review and actively implement agreed school policies and guidelines 

• To perform such other duties as may be requested from time to time, commensurate with the role 

• Uphold and promulgate the OneSchool Global UK (OSGUK) ethos, values and guiding principles within all areas of responsibility
