West Twyford Primary School is a 2-form entry school where “pupils are well taught by teachers who are hardworking and motivated to do their very best” (Ofsted, March 2018).

Our school has a strong focus on excellent teaching and learning across the curriculum. We believe in offering a wide variety of enrichment activities for our pupils. Emotional health & well-being is promoted throughout the school and we have a community of settled, happy and positive learners.

Our newly built, state of the art building is well resourced and we have beautiful grounds. Our premises Manager is highly effective and the premises is well-maintained. We require an assistant caretaker to join our team and support the upkeep and maintenance of the school environment as well as offering capacity to develop our setting to offer new play and learning opportunities for the children whilst maintaining high standards of health and safety.

You will be welcomed into a supportive and high achieving team where “staff are helpful and respectful, which in turn helps pupils to behave well and to have positive attitudes about the school”

You will bring and share your experience, skills, and drive to innovate and inspire but also to learn from others. You will have a proven record of providing a clean, safe and secure environment. You will understand health and safety policies and procedures and will contribute to safeguarding the welfare of children and young people in the school.
