Flexible hours to ensure cover 6am to 6pm - based on 35 hours per week


Rush Green Primary School are looking for enthusiastic, active, flexible, friendly and organised individuals who are willing to work individually and as part of a team.  The individual will be assisting the current Site Manager by supporting the activities of the day to day running of the school, which includes to manage the maintenance, security and general services of the school.

General premises management duties include clearing/gritting of paths in cold weather, security of the buildings and sites, storage of cleaning materials, ensuring the inside and outside environment are well maintained and meet Health and Safety requirements.  Basic premises maintenance duties include plumbing, decorating, building work, and/or carpentry knowledge would be an advantage.

The job entails having daily contact with staff, the borough and other internal and external parties and the candidate will be expected to perform their duties to a high standard.

The successful candidate should have good working knowledge of Health & Safety, COSHH, Fire Alarms, Security systems, Risk assessments and good communication skills.
