As we continue to expand towards seven forms of entry by 2022, we are looking to appoint hardworking, friendly and flexible individuals with a good work ethic to join our dedicated and inclusive team. Previous caretaking experience isn’t essential but a good understanding of a school’s requirements would be an advantage.
Responsibilities will include: • Carrying out day-to-day maintenance and repairs •Making sure that heating, lighting and alarm systems are working properly •Making sure that doors and windows are locked when the building is not in use •Checking the premises to guard against vandalism or break-ins •Porterage duties •Ordering cleaning materials. •Cleaning and grounds maintenance
Interested applicants should have: •An awareness of health, safety, security and hygiene issues. •Excellent practical skills. • A positive attitude to team work and the flexibility needed for working in a school environment. •Self-motivation and the ability to work unsupervised. •Physical fitness •Experience of working with ladders and tools •Basic computer skills.
