Term Time – 32.5 hours per week



Rivington and Blackrod High School wish to appoint an Assistant Catering Manager from September 2019 to deliver the school meals and provide assistance within the school catering department. The main duties will be to assist in the food and beverage preparation and carry out managements tasks as directed by the Senior Catering Manager, and to ensure that these tasks are carried out to the highest standard possible. Whilst ensuring a high level of hygiene and health and safety is maintained in all areas of work. 


Applications are encouraged from people with experience in a large catering facility; however, this is not an essential requirement.


Salary and Grade – Post is term time only 


Assistant Catering Manager (32.5 hours) – Grade C (£18,426 - £19,171) pro rata (actual salary £13,928 per annum).


Hours of work will usually be as follows: Monday – Friday 7.30am – 2pm
