Working Hours: 7.00am to 3.00pm Monday to Thursday and 7.00am to 2.30pm Friday
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic Assistant Catering Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the overall management and operation of the school catering services ensuring a high-quality and professional service is provided to pupils, staff and two external primaries, and you will also need to ensure that all Health & Safety procedures are adhered to at all times. You will be responsible for all aspects of meal planning and ensuring nutritional standards are met.
You will need to promote the use of and generate income through the catering services on behalf of the school and respond to all associated issues. Whilst offering a catering service to over 1000 students and 130 staff, you will also provide meals for two local primary schools.
You must have:
• A good standard of knowledge and skills in catering work
• Equivalent to NVQ Level 2 in catering
• Basic food hygiene and safety certificate
• Knowledge of food hygiene procedures
• Good communication, team working and staff supervisory skills
