The Governors of The Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School are seeking to appoint an exceptional Assistant Chaplain. This post commences on 1st September 2017 and offers an exciting opportunity for a hard-working and ambitious individual. Full training and Inset will be offered to the successful candidate.
The successful candidate will assist the School Chaplain:
•Presenting the Gospel Values within a caring Catholic community, as part of the wider Church, and in the model of Jesus Christ
•Animating, promoting and maintaining the spiritual, religious and liturgical life of the school
•Promoting the idea that we are all given gifts and talents and must use them in order to live out the motto: All Things for Christ The Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School is an ambitious and caring community, committed to fulfilling the gifts of each student, reflected in the School’s mission statement “Education for All = Achievement for All”.
The Assistant Chaplain will serve as part of a chaplaincy team with one other chaplain, as well as student chaplaincy leaders and staff. This role works closely with all year groups of students, staff, local clergy, governors and parents. Salary Grade – commensurate with skills and experience of successful applicant.
