Salary: £18,063.00 – £22,772.76 (pt 14 – pt 18)

Contract: Permanent, 30 hours per week, term time only (44.6 weeks)

Role Overview:

We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Chef to join our team to provide appealing, nutritious and well-balanced meals to a high standard for all school users, achieving high levels of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards at all times.

Where necessary full training will be provided including training for Level 2 in Food Hygiene certification.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in the day to day running of the kitchen, working with fresh ingredients. All meals in the school are produced from scratch so knowledge of fresh cooking is a must. The ideal candidate would ideally have previous food preparation and cooking experience in a professional kitchen and be able to work unsupervised at times and must have the ability to work independently

in the absence of the School Chef.
