We are looking for a well-qualified, inspirational Assistant Curriculum Leader of MFL to join this happy and successful Academy. In all our lessons we aim to build confidence and a love of languages. We will appoint a high-impact teacher who can deliver strong outcomes with their classes.

We are determined that the successful candidate will have:

• A passion for teaching in their specialist subject.

• Evidence of high impact teaching.

• Evidence of strong outcomes with groups at KS3 and KS4.

• Well-developed skills in marking and feedback to students, which leads to well-matched and challenging learning activities.

• Alignment with our trust and school values.

All candidates must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

Droylsden Academy is an 11-16 Co-Educational School in Tameside, Greater Manchester. It is currently rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted (2022 and 2017). The Academy serves over 900 students and employs over 100 teachers and support staff. The school is heavily over-subscribed, has an impressive state -of-the art modern building and is in a very strong financial position.

The Tame River Educational Trust was founded in January 2022, with Droylsden Academy as its founding member.  Our Multi Academy Trust (MAT) is a sponsored Trust (sponsored by Tameside College and Clarendon Sixth Form) and currently has one secondary school and an Associate Member secondary school (soon to become a full member).
