ACS International Schools are recruiting an Assistant Dean of Admissions to join the Admissions team at ACS Hillingdon.

As a key member of the admission team, we would use your drive, resourcefulness, proactivity, and experience to enrol applicants from Pre-K to Grade 12. You will manage and develop excellent customer relationships together with the Dean of Admissions ensuring every family will get the support they need during their admission journey.

Support the Management of Admissions:

• To support the Dean of Admissions in the supervision of the Admissions office on a day-to-day basis so that prospective families receive welcoming, professional, and outstanding customer service.

• Understand and communicate the school’s ethos and approach when meeting with prospective families, ensuring positive relationships are established and maintained.

• Promote and conduct campus visits or zoom calls daily ensuring they have a seamless experience, following through with the entire enrolment process in a professional and timely manner until their first day of school.

• Be knowledgeable with our recruitment and retention targets, drive enrolment by managing enquiries and conversion accordingly and in line with our availability per grade.

• Ensure that sufficient information is provided on applicants, including appropriate and discreet enquiry with other educators and educational consultants as necessary, to facilitate discussions with Principals, Head of School and other departments to determine eligibility for acceptance.

• Help with potential assessment of applicants (Oxford placement test)

• Re-enrolment - Support and assist all returning parents with the re-enrolment process through the year so that the re-enrolment process runs smoothly.

• Withdrawal - Together with the Admission teams, be aware of our withdrawal of the school notice periods and arranging a smooth and efficient exit for both the families and ACS.

• Liaise with all relevant departments through the admissions and departure processes when required to ensure a smooth process and high level of service is provided every step of the way.

• In the Dean’s absence, support and manage the team to ensure duties are taken care of in a timely manner. Management Information and Administration

• Perform a variety of administrative duties 

• Participate in and understand the life of the school and keep in touch with any academic or other developments to ensure that Admissions can appropriately represent the School

• To be well informed of the school’s academic and co-curricular offering.

Marketing and Business Development

• Work with the Marketing Department, to drive enrolment through marketing activities, including direct marketing and event marketing.

Experience:

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.

• Experience working in Education or Services environment. Previous Admissions experience in an international school environment is an advantage.

• Team focused with a flexible attitude.

• Understanding/experience of the IB Program as well as American and other international curricula are an advantage.

• Experience working in a dynamic, hands-on, customer service environment.

• Solid time management skills with the ability to multi-task and cope with peaks of demand.

• Ability to form effective customer relationships and convert enquiries.

• Proven experience in the use of databases, and using computer software such as Microsoft and Google applications. Experience in the production of statistical information and reports is an advantage.

• Knowledge about OpenApply system would be an advantage.

• Able to develop admissions and marketing information and correspondence with competence, in collaboration with the marketing and digital teams.
