As Assistant Director, in a key leadership role, you will be responsible for strategic and operational leadership to the Learning and Skills division of the Children’s Services Directorate. Organising and developing services for continuous improvement and ensure these are aligned with the Council’s corporate priorities. You will be key in managing the relationship between the Council and its schools and ensure that children and young people in Solihull have the best chance to succeed.

We are looking for an experienced leader who is determined to make a difference. You will have a proven track record in delivering major pieces of work, projects and change across professional boundaries. You will be a dynamic leader able to thrive in a political environment. You will have shown the ability to motivate colleagues and partners, building positive relationships that deliver great outcomes for our children and young people.

We are looking for outstanding individuals who have excellent interpersonal skills, and are passionate about supporting children, young people and young adults (age 0-25).
