Job overview

The Directorate of Learning Services spans a range of operational areas which focus on the provision of high quality, innovative learning services to our further and higher education students.

Working closely with the Director of Learning Services, the successful candidate will focus specifically on the areas of Maths and English, promoting best practice and managing a team to ensure the effective delivery of both GCSE and Functional Skills Maths and English courses across a range of vocational programmes.

You will be driven and enthusiastic, with a proven ability to achieve outstanding results and demonstrated experience in a management or leadership role. Your application will be supported by a degree-level qualification in a relevant subject and a recognised teaching qualification, in addition to evidence that you possess the organisational, communication, IT and problem-solving skills to excel in this role.
