We are looking to appoint a number of Assistant Directors with specific areas of responsibility to help our newly appointed Executive Leadership Team raise achievement and attainment across the Trust.
Assistant Director of Learning & Progress - Mathematics
Salary: £50,490 - £57,123 pa
Applications are invited from inspirational individuals who can demonstrate effective leadership skills and a track record of improving progress and attainment in their area of expertise. This role would be suitable for an excellent practitioner who is ready to be exposed to a wider range of leadership responsibilities. Perhaps someone who is on the journey to a Vice/Deputy Principal role in the future?
You should be:
- an excellent practitioner of Maths who is able to demonstrate high expectations of students, coupled with a proven track record of successful leadership experience.
- able to take responsibility for the proactive, continual improvement of high quality teaching and learning across this key core subject, and be capable of developing cross and extra-curricular improvements
- able to effectively lead the Maths teams across the Trust; being accountable for the progress of students in this key core subject whilst ensuring student achievement and progress is the forefront of teaching
- able to work with other Assistant Directors of specialisms to ensure that our students are highly engaged and motivated, irrespective of what class or subject they are being taught.
- able to demonstrate a commitment to our values of Inclusion, Progression and Excellence.
