The Co-operative Academy of Manchester is seeking an experienced, talented and ambitious Maths teacher who is ready to develop into a highly effective leader.
We welcome applications from Maths teachers at any stage of their career, whether already experienced in subject leadership or taking their first step up.
The academy is currently embarking on a significant expansion programme and as part of an £18 million extension, a brand new Maths department is being created. The Maths faculty is currently being led by a very experienced Assistant Vice-Principal, who is prepared to stay in this role to mentor our next Director of Maths. This is an ideal opportunity for the right candidate to develop their leadership with the direct support of an experienced colleague.

The Co-operative Academy of Manchester opened in September 2010 in a new build and is sponsored by the Co-operative Group, which is one of Manchester’s largest businesses. In 2013, the academy was the most improved school in Manchester and our recent Ofsted inspection in November 2014 rated the academy "Good" with many outstanding features.
