Responsible for Girls PE/Health Education and Health and Social Care within the PE (Wellbeing Faculty).

We have an exciting opportunity for an imaginative and enthusiastic teacher of P.E. to join our resourceful and dynamic department September 2018. You will be joining a committed, vibrant and forward thinking faculty. This opportunity would suit an ambitious teacher looking to progress their career - we offer excellent training opportunities and support.

The faculty teaches core PE to Years 7-11; we also have groups following BTEC Sport at KS4 and Health & Social Care at KS4. We also deliver Health and Social Care Btec Level 3 at Post 16.  Our PE facilities are excellent and include a sports hall and gym, fitness room and a swimming pool as well as outdoor areas. The successful candidate would be expected to teach  Health and Social Care.

Foxford is an 11-18 multicultural mixed comprehensive school, which is known for its friendly, supportive ethos and on-going ambition.  We are looking to attract enthusiastic individuals, to become valued members of our staff. The school is run by a highly dedicated senior leadership team, who have the upmost care and respect for our students, our staff and the local community.

This is an exciting time to join Foxford School as we fully embrace European City of Sport in 2019.

We provide excellent support and CPD for all staff. Our Post 16 results placed us in the top 3 in the City, and we are the most improved school in the City for 5 standard passes including English and Maths.

Foxford School and Community Arts College is a co-educational maintained secondary school situated in Longford, Coventry. The school is for pupils aged 11-18 and features a sixth form with capacity for 150 students. Foxford School and Community Arts College has a catchment area spanning the West Midlands, including the towns of Broad Heath, Holbrook and Bell Green.

The secondary school is maintained by Coventry City Council and accommodates over 1,000 pupils.
