We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Assistant Director of Sport who will play a significant role in the development and strategic leadership of sporting provision at STAHS.
The Assistant Director of Sport will support the Director of Sport in implementing and monitoring plans for the strategic development of sport and physical activity at the school, in line with the wider school strategic plan. They will also co-ordinate the PE & Games programme across all key stages working closely with the Director of Sport to facilitate an outstanding programme of competition. This role also plays an important part in managing and delivering the STAHS Elite Athlete Support Programme (EASP), and the Assistant Director of Sport will be required to deputise for the Director of Sport in their absence to ensure the smooth running of the department.
The Assistant Director of Sport will be a motivated and ambitious leader within the department. Experience of teaching A level PE with a proven track record is essential.
Based in the senior school, St Albans. This permanent position is offered on a full-time basis with a start date of September 2023 or January 2024 for the right candidate.
