Tes is supporting this Independent Secondary School in the appointment of a Assistant Director of Sport in Reading.
They are looking for an experienced, passionate and inspiring individual to join the team as Assistant Director of Sport.
In this role, you will contribute to and lead elements of the co-curricular sporting programme with direction from the Director of Sport.
You will also be a key contributor to the development of a co-educational programme that challenges and inspires all of the pupils.
The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching sport in an educational setting, proven experience of running extra-curricular clubs and activities and coaching competitive sports teams. They will also have played and/or coached hockey at high level standard, with experience in coaching/competing in gymnastics an advantage.
This is a full time role working across the School’s operational hours during the academic year.
