Latymer Upper School in Hammersmith has a large site stretching from King Street to the river Thames.  Near the river is our Sports Centre, built in 2016 and comprising of  a six lane 25m swimming pool with flexible floor height, six court sports hall, three fitness studios and a fully equipped fitness suite.   The School’s playing fields are in Shepherds Bush and cover 3½ hectares, with 4 winter sports pitches, 1 sand filled astro, 1 sand dressed astro, 3 cricket squares (one artificial) and 4 cricket nets. 

Over the past few years, the School has invested over £50 million on major builds and renovation.  We now have a new role for an Assistant Estates Director.  Reporting to the Estates Director you will ensure the sports facilities are well managed and maintained and will play a part in ensuring strategic plans are delivered on time and within budget.

To succeed in this role, you will have a Recognised Construction Industry Qualification such as RICS / RIBA or significant experience of estate management / senior management in the education sector, as well as experience of managing capital works from concept to delivery.

You will have a sound knowledge of health and safety regulations as they relate to sports facilities, premises and buildings. You will also be able to produce specifications and tendering documents.
