Are you seeking to further your career in Facilities Management? We are looking for an ambitious individual with the required experience to join our Estates and Facilities team as an Assistant Facilities Manager. You will deliver compliance monitoring, provide responsive reactive maintenance through supervision of the facilities team and support and deputise for the Facilities Manager.

This is an exciting time to join the Girls’ Learning Trust as Assistant Facilities Manager. You will be responsible for a team of four, supervising and leading the coordination of reactive and planned preventative maintenance, coordinate small projects, monitor cleaning standards and manage contractors on site. The Assistant Facilities Manager will also work with Trust colleagues, supporting the development of facilities management systems and processes to enhance compliance management and service delivery.
The Girls’ Learning Trust (GLT) was formed in September 2015 and consists of three successful and high-performing girls’ schools: Nonsuch High School for Girls, Wallington High School for Girls and Carshalton High School for Girls. All three schools are in the London Borough of Sutton. As the largest all-girls multi academy trust in the UK, we have c4,500 students aged 11-18 and over 500 staff. We have a financial turnover of c£30m and operate over three large sites. Our aim is to empower girls and young women by delivering a first-class education and providing an inspirational start to their futures.

The following activities are intrinsic to the role and cannot be eliminated:

About Wallington High School for Girls
Wallington High School for Girls is a secondary grammar school with a sixth form located in Sutton, Greater London. Since September 2015, Wallington High School for Girls has been part of the Nonsuch and Wallington Education Trust.
Wallington High School for Girls has established transport links and is accessible via the nearby Wallington rail station. The school is twinned with Wallington County Grammar School for Boys, located 1.5 miles away. Wallington High was founded in 1888. A time capsule was buried in the grounds in a 125th anniversary celebration in 2013.
