Teaching and Learning at Cranford – A creative curriculum!

Academic excellence is the cornerstone of everything we seek to achieve as a teaching team, and we are proud of our outstanding results which place us consistently amongst the leading schools in the region.

We are particularly proud of the individual care and attention that goes into achieving a value-added score for pupils averaging more than +1.5 over the last 5 years. Underpinning this is a creative approach to teaching and learning that seeks to inspire and engage every pupil. Our small class sizes allow us time as teachers to get to know every learner and understand what inspires and engages them and to plan for stretch and challenge for every pupil.

Our thriving co-curricular provision, talented teaching team and carefully considered thinking skills curriculum seeks to encourage curiosity, challenge, and academic rigour in our pupils, but perhaps most importantly of all a sense of fun and joy in their learning.
