The Chief Executive, and the Heads of Mill Hill School and Mill Hill International, are seeking to appoint an Assistant Head (Boarding). The appointee will be a dynamic and collaborative educator with the academic credentials, pastoral vision and leadership qualities to inspire the Mill Hill boarding community. A person of exemplary experience and quality is required who will bring imagination and innovation to the schools’ Senior Leadership teams.

The successful candidate will ideally take up the post in January 2023 or sooner.

Set within a wonderful 150-acre campus, our four purpose-built Boarding Houses provide the space for 195 full and weekly boarders. Pupils are welcomed from many backgrounds and locations in the UK and around the world. While three of our Boarding Houses are co-educational, we have one new smaller single sex Boarding Houses for girls. The Boarding Houses are shared between boarders from Mill Hill (MHS) School and Mill Hill International (MHI) with a close working relationship existing between the Senior Leadership Teams of both schools.

About Mill Hill School

The Mill Hill School Foundation offers education to boys and girls aged between 3 and 18 in its four Schools. The Schools occupy a magnificent 160 acres of beautiful grounds just 10 miles from Central London with easy access to underground and main line stations.

Mill Hill School is the senior school in the Foundation and the largest in our group, catering to boys and girls aged 13-18. We offer weekly and full boarding, although the majority of students are day pupils. Our unique culture and approach offers pupils an education which is of distinctive quality, with an effective balance between academic and co-curricular pursuits, alongside careful pastoral support.
