The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and energetic Assistant Head to lead KS4 at Woodfield School.
As part of the core role the person appointed will:
● Lead KS4 (years 10&11) as Phase Lead for a team of tutors monitoring the holistic development of pupils.
● Lead the standards, curriculum, and strategic development of KS4 in line with the school development plan.
● Lead and develop accreditation pathways for all pupils working with the Deputy Head for continuity and progression and monitor the examination entries process.
● Lead the development of Teaching and Learning across the school and be a mentor and coach for staff.
● Lead and develop Maths and Numeracy across the school in conjunction with Head of Maths.
● Deputy SENCo
Woodfield is a secondary special school for pupils with a range of learning difficulties. Teamwork and collaborative teaching and planning are essential in our school underpinned by our ethos of ‘Creating a Community of Lifelong Learners’.
