Assistant Head

Cameron Vale School is seeking an ambitious, dynamic and experienced educational leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as Assistant Headteacher from September 2026.

This is a key strategic role within our thriving independent preparatory school, with responsibility for leading Teaching and Learning across the school, overseeing SEND provision as SENDCo, and acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead. The successful candidate will play a central role in driving academic excellence, promoting inclusive practice and ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Working closely with the Headteacher, the Assistant Headteacher will contribute to whole-school development, lead staff professional growth and ensure that all pupils are supported and challenged to achieve their full potential. The role also includes oversight of designated operational functions to support the smooth and effective running of the school.

We are looking for a reflective, highly organised and inspirational leader with a strong track record of raising standards, a deep understanding of inclusion and safeguarding, and the ability to motivate and develop colleagues.
