Assistant Head – Director of Sixth Form

Salary starting from £65k + benefits/pension 

At Wakefield Girls’, we enable our students to achieve the extraordinary. Required from September 2023, we are looking to appoint an exceptional individual to join our Senior Leadership Team as Assistant Head: Director of Sixth Form. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate wanting responsibility for leading and managing our post 16 education. As a Senior Leader of the School you will also be expected to build and realise the shared vision of excellence and the highest academic standards for all students. 

You should be a well-qualified teacher with experience of teaching across the Key Stages. You will also be a successful middle or senior leader with high expectations, bringing experience from previous academic and pastoral roles. We are looking for a strong record of excellence in teaching and examination outcomes, a passion for learning and a strong commitment to pastoral care and student wellbeing.
