Assistant Head – Early Years Foundation Stage and Reception Teacher

Co-educational, independent day school, 300 pupils 2 to 11 years, Kenilworth, Warwickshire, part of the Princethorpe Foundation

We require for April (or September) 2017, a well-qualified graduate to take on the role of Assistant Head and Reception Teacher. The Assistant Head will be a member of the Senior Management Team and be required to take a major role in determining, implementing and evaluating the agreed aims of the school and all school policies.

The post requires you to promote the smooth running of the School, maintaining the ethos of a caring Christian school family with a Catholic school base.

The successful candidate will work closely with, report to and advise the Headmaster in all areas of school life, with specific responsibility for the Early Years Foundation Stage. The Headmaster is assisted by a Deputy Head and two Assistant Heads, who, collectively, take full responsibility for the welfare and development of the school and, in his absence, deputise accordingly.

The Princethorpe Foundation has its own pay scale which is above national scales.
