An exceptional opportunity for an experienced and innovative teacher and leader to be part of The Elms Leadership team responsible for driving the school through the next exciting phase of its development.

As the Nursery and Junior school of Trent College, The Elms is very popular, happy and successful, with a full roll in almost every class and a total of 430 children from Nursery to Year 6. Conveniently located between Nottingham and Derby, it combines the best of city culture and a countryside location. 

The Elms has modern, purpose-built premises and shares a wonderful 45-acre campus with Trent College. Facilities are extremely impressive, the academic education is outstanding, and there is a huge choice of co-curricular and sporting activities. 

The Assistant Head is responsible for developing the Nursery, Pre-School and Key Stage 1 and so the successful candidate must be an inspirational classroom practitioner with the confidence to further develop our high academic standards and outstanding pastoral care.
