An immensely exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Senior School Leadership Team (SSLT) as Assistant Head IB Diploma and Sixth Form.
The position has become available after years of outstanding contribution, expansion and improvement under the current post holder who has been with the school since its opening in 2011. This is a crucial role within the school and an ability to contribute to whole school development outside of the Job description will be of benefit.
North London Collegiate School Jeju is a large, thriving co-educational Day and Boarding school for students aged 4-18. Our curriculum and ambitious academic ethos, together with our extensive co-curricular programme, reflect our close links with NLCS in London and provides a high quality British Independent School education in an international setting.
Our 2016 graduating students achieved an average IBDP score of 38, which has consistently grown in the last three years from 36 points (in only its third year of operation) and 40% of our students scored more than 40 points. Two of our students scored the maximum of 45 points in 2015. Our alumni are now attending some of the world’s leading universities, from Cambridge to Yale, from Stanford to LSE, from Oxford to Imperial, and beyond.
As a member of the SSLT the post holder will have direct responsibility for the coordination of the IB Diploma, pastoral overview of sixth form students, and university guidance. We are looking for an individual who is committed to the IB Diploma philosophy, who is energetic and driven, and has a track record of successful leadership that delivers the highest standard of experience for students.
