About us

Doha College is a high-profile leading British International School in Qatar delivering a well-balanced, all-embracing English National Curriculum to students aged 3-18. We are also the first High Performance Learning accredited school in the world. With 2,500 students and 350 staff, the school is a vibrant international community that subscribes to equal opportunities for all. An exciting time for the school, last year we moved to a brand-new, 90,000m² state-of-the-art campus, amalgamating two previous sites and ensuring the College’s place at the forefront of educational provision in world-class facilities.

The pastoral team consists of a dedicated group of Heads of Years and Deputy Heads of Years, alongside the school counsellor, Head of Careers and University Guidance, nursing team and Learning Support department. Within Key Stage 5, there are dedicated Heads of Years 12 and 13, and a team of 15 tutors supporting around 250 students.

Our academic team consists of six experienced Heads of Faculty who, in turn, lead the Heads of Departments and enrichment coordinators. With over 20 different subject options available to students throughout the Key Stages, there are many pathways open to students. Our examination results are a testament to the outstanding level of teaching and holistic learning approach that allows each and every child that is part of our community, take the path to their chosen future.
