We are looking for an exceptional candidate who shares the college’s ambition to raise standards and aspirations by having a positive impact on our students, their families and the wider college community.

The successful candidate will join a committed team of specialists in a successful faculty delivering the subjects of Art and Design, Dance, Drama and Music and will:

• be able to demonstrate a proven track record in innovative teaching and learning and knowledge of recent curriculum changes.

• have a clear vision and determination to enable and support the further development of the faculty.

• raise and sustain outcomes for all students using data to develop appropriate interventions.

• demonstrate the ability to implement change as well as support and motivate a committed team.

The ability to teach Art across Key Stages 3 and 4 would be a significant advantage.

As Assistant Head of Faculty you will take the lead in your subject specialism, while assisting the Head of Faculty on all aspects of the strategic development of the Faculty, including developing new KS4 courses for September 2022. 

The faculty consists of well-resourced departments, with  a state of the art performing arts studio and has a growing extra-curricular offer with a busy programme of concerts, shows and exhibitions
