Assistant Head of Faculty - Science

We have an exciting opportunity for an outstanding Science Teacher with strong subject knowledge to join our team as the Assistant Head of Faculty. Key responsibilities are for the academic achievement and wider experiences of students within the KS4 Science curriculum and for enrichment opportunities.

The successful candidate will have a strong record of accomplishment together with the ability to teach challenging and enjoyable lessons across all key stages which enable students to achieve great outcomes. You will embrace working collaboratively within a forward-thinking department and be willing to share ideas and improve teaching and learning. The right candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, receptive to change and able to work under pressure.

•         Has Qualified Teacher Status and a good educational background including a good Honours Degree or equivalent.

•         Has high personal standards in terms of attendance, punctuality and organising workload

I am very proud to be Principal at Lincroft Academy. Within our vibrant learning community, we share a common goal; to continually strive for excellence. High-quality teaching enables our students to achieve very well. Lincroft Academy now has some of the highest performing GCSE outcomes in Bedford and are above the national average.
