Assistant Head of Mathematics

Following the promotion of the current post holder, we wish to appoint an outstanding teacher and mathematician who will work with our Head of Department and the rest of our existing team to develop and enhance the teaching of mathematics at all levels.

The successful candidate will be able and prepared to lead and make a substantial contribution to our rich and varied academic enrichment programme for mathematics. It is also envisaged that the job description will include responsibility for the Key Stage 3 curriculum.

This post would be ideally suited to someone who aspires to lead her or his own department in a few years’ time. In making this appointment, therefore, the Headmaster will have regard to the potential exhibited by candidates as well as to their experience. A comprehensive programme of support and training will be made available to the successful applicant. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
