To begin in August 2020, we are looking for an exceptional Assistant Head of School to take responsibility for leading our growing Early Years Centre of over 120 two to five year olds. Reporting to the Head of Primary, the Assistant Head of School- Early Years Centre, will be an exceptional Early Years Leader with extensive experience of both teaching in, and leading a successful Early Years Setting.
Suitable candidates for this post will:
Hold a good Honours Degree.
Hold a UK-recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or similar).
Be an inspirational Early Years leader with extensive experience and excellent knowledge of teaching and leading in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Be able to demonstrate their understanding and commitment to Positive Education
Have an ambitious approach to leading Early Years practice which ensures high standards in all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage
Understand the importance of, and balance between, teacher-led and child-initiated learning
Be able to demonstrate what constitutes outstanding classroom practice and have the ability to be able to develop this in others
Want to play an active role in the co-curricular life of a busy international school.
Possess the ambition, enthusiasm and can-do attitude to want to play a key role in shaping and developing an outstanding school

Final interviews for UK-based candidates will be held in the UK, week beginning 6th January 2020. Internationally-based candidates’ final interviews will take place via Skype or in person depending on the candidates’ location.
