Assistant Head of Primary School (Head of Town Campus)

St. Constantine’s International School, Tanzania, a member of Round Square, is seeking an Assistant Head of Primary School with responsibility for leading our Town Campus of around 60 students and 10 staff, commencing August 2018.

The Town Campus sits in full view of the stunning Mount Meru on the northern Game Park circuit and is located in a low-density residential area of Arusha city. The EYFS programme is followed in Early Years and the Cambridge International Primary Programme is followed in Years 1 and 2. Students leave Town Campus at the end of Year 2 and join Year 3 at our Main Campus which lies just outside the western edge of Arusha city. The successful candidate will deliver lessons that inspire, engage and enthuse our students as explorers in learning, while simultaneously inspiring our staff, from all over the world, to do the same. Successful candidates will be expected to be the lead teacher for a Year 1 class and possess the energy and enthusiasm to contribute to our strong electives and co-curricular programme.

• BA in Education or BA Degree with PGCE
• A minimum of 3 years teaching experience
• Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child
• Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities
