Are you a fantastic class teacher looking to progress into leadership?
Then Grestone Academy is for you.
Grestone Academy is a large primary academy in Handsworth Wood, Birmingham. The Academy is outward looking and keen to embrace new ideas and engage with external partners to provide the best for our children. This is an exciting time to be joining Grestone Academy in such a significant leadership role. The recent November 2017 Ofsted commented that, “Grestone Academy is an improving school” and we are looking to build on the progress to date with the appointment of the new Assistant Heads of School. The successful candidates will help shape and influence the future success for this improving academy.
We are seeking to appoint three excellent, enthusiastic individuals with a proven track record in leading and teaching to join our newly formed, friendly and hardworking senior leadership team. You will have the opportunity to make a big impact on improving standards through your fresh ideas, motivational skills and relentless focus on improvement.
The three posts are for:
1) Assistant Head of School – Phase Leader: EYFS & Year 1
2) Assistant Head of School – Phase Leader: Years 2, 3 & 4
3) Assistant Head of School – Phase Leader: Years 5, 6 & Transition
If you are interested in joining us on our journey to make Grestone Academy an excellent centre of learning, we recommend that you visit the academy where you can meet the Heads of School to gain a full understanding of the academy's context and plans for future success.
