Job overview

We are seeking an experienced, successful and inspiring Science teacher to join us from September 2017 to lead Key Stage 5 Science. If you are able to offer Chemistry teaching at Key Stage 5, that would be an advantage.

The post holder would be responsible for student outcomes at Key Stage 5 in science and for overseeing the assessment of the CPAC criteria for the A level specifications.

We need energy, ability, positivity and a willingness to go beyond expectation. You will be an outstanding teacher with the ambition and vision to raise standards and the quality of teaching and learning in science across the academy. You will have Qualified Teacher Status and a proven track record of success within a secondary school setting.

We are a high expectation, rapidly improving academy. We offer excellent opportunities for professional development to help you further your career and a highly supportive team of dedicated staff. Kettering Buccleuch Academy offers a supportive and friendly environment in which our staff have plenty of opportunity to grow and develop.

Kettering Buccleuch Academy caters for students aged 4-18 and is home to cutting edge technology and impressive facilities, bringing education to life for our students. Kettering Buccleuch Academy is part of United Learning, a large and growing group of schools aiming to offer a life changing education to children and young people across England.
