We are seeking an experienced, successful and inspiring Science teacher to join us from September 2017 to lead Key Stage 5 Science. If you are able to offer Chemistry teaching at Key Stage 5, that would be an advantage.

The post holder would be responsible for student outcomes at Key Stage 5 in science and for overseeing the assessment of the CPAC criteria for the A level specifications.

We need energy, ability, positivity and a willingness to go beyond expectation. You will be an outstanding teacher with the ambition and vision to raise standards and the quality of teaching and learning in science across the academy. You will have Qualified Teacher Status and a proven track record of success within a secondary school setting.

We are a high expectation, rapidly improving academy. We offer excellent opportunities for professional development to help you further your career and a highly supportive team of dedicated staff. Kettering Buccleuch Academy offers a supportive and friendly environment in which our staff have plenty of opportunity to grow and develop.

Kettering Buccleuch Academy caters for students aged 4-18 and is home to cutting edge technology and impressive facilities, bringing education to life for our students. Under recent new leadership, we have created a culture of high expectation and recognise that investment in excellent staff is key to achieving our vision of providing the very best education for our students.

Kettering Buccleuch Academy is part of United Learning, a large and growing group of schools aiming to offer a life changing education to children and young people across England.

United Learning schools work as a team and achieve more my sharing than any single school could. Using our intranet site, United Hub, for example, we share resources and communication across sites, helping to simplify work processes and manage workloads for an improved work-life balance.

As a Group, we can reward our staff better with good career opportunities, better pay, benefits and, ultimately, the satisfaction of helping children succeed. It's an ethos we call 'the best in everyone'.

We warmly encourage visits to our school so that you can experience the unique ethos of Kettering Buccleuch Academy for yourself. If you would like to visit the academy, please contact Miss Millsop, PA to the Principal, on 01536 515644 or via email
