About the Role

We are currently recruiting for Assistant Headteacher – Raising Standards: Maths and Whole School Numeracy.

This is an exciting time in the school’s development. We require an ambitious, experienced and highly skilled leader to secure the highest possible for outcomes in Maths across all age ranges at GEMS Wellington International School. With the development of a three school model, the successful candidate is required to motivate others, harness the key strengths of their colleagues and lead continual improvement in Maths and numeracy across all phases (ages 3-18).

This would be an exciting opportunity for an experienced middle leader with a track record of outstanding classroom practice and leadership at subject/curriculum level. Experience of leading rapid, sustainable change in a Maths department is essential. This position would suit an ambitious middle leader with aspirations to move to a Deputy Headteacher position within 3 years’ time.
