We are looking for an experienced teacher with drive, enthusiasm and resilience to join our successful and supportive Senior Leadership Team. The new Assistant Head will be responsible for ensuring pupils, as far as their health permits, engage in their statutory entitlement to education; this includes striving to remove any barriers to their learning.

This leadership role is varied and will include:
● representing the school and pupil at multidisciplinary ward meetings
● providing support and guidance, to children, young people and their families
● analysing feedback from a wide range of stakeholders
● liaising & advocating with local authorities and the pupils’ home schools
● teaching an agreed caseload on wards or in schoolroom
