Job overview

Due to retirement we have an exciting opportunity to apply for the role of Assistant Head Teacher with responsibility for Pupil Progress. This is a significant role in identifying and breaking down barriers to learning from improving attendance through to curriculum support and intervention. Supporting pupil groups and closing gaps between will be a key focus of this role. 

Hutton Church of England Grammar school is a successful 11-18 comprehensive for boys up to 16 and then a co-educational Sixth Form.

About Hutton Church Of England Grammar School

Hutton Church of England Grammar School is based in Hutton, Preston, in Lancashire. The school, which opened in 1552 is a religious establishment that is a part of the Church of England. It is boys only, voluntary aided, secondary school with a sixth form. It educates boys between the ages of 11 and 18. At present, there are approximately 858 pupils enrolled at the school including 152 students on the roll in sixth form.
