We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Head Teacher - Quality of Education to work as part of the Senior Leadership Team to provide strategic leadership to the school in order to secure continuous improvement and support the Head Teacher and Governors in achieving our strategic aims.


We are looking for an Assistant Head Teacher - Quality of Education who:

  • Will be committed to supporting the vision, aims and values of Selly Park Girls' School;
  • Has a proven track record of successful leadership, management and school improvement;
  • Has personal qualities which influence, motivate and inspire others to learn best practice and be confident to accept responsibility, innovate and lead change;
  • Will over see the improvement of quality of education for all students, ensuring the highest standards of curriculum planning, pedagogy and delivery;
  • Will lead in the monitoring, evaluation and review of standards and provision across the curriculum;
  • Will actively promote equality, diversity and inclusion within the school.
