Job overview

We are looking to appoint a highly skilled, passionate and innovative individual to join our Senior Leadership Team as Assistant Head Teacher. The role will be non teaching, but with an expectation to provide teaching cover as required.

You will work closely with the Academy Leader and other members of SLT to provide inspiring leadership; ensuring high standards of teaching and outstanding achievement for all.   As a school we are striving for continued excellence and we pride ourselves on the academic success of all our pupils.

Your leadership style will uphold the school’s values and the successful applicant will recognise the importance of staff wellbeing.

You will have a proven track record of success and the ability to lead and inspire staff. You will work with the Academy Leader and the Trust to support and facilitate staff development, CPD and training across the school, leading staff INSET as required.

You must be an outstanding practitioner who always demonstrates high expectations. You will see the child as more than a statistic by demonstrating an understanding of their pastoral and safeguarding needs.
