We are looking for an inspirational and student centred Assistant Head with a specialism in English and Literacy. The successful candidate will make an important contribution to continuing to raise standards, set high expectations and provide expertise and passion in equal measures to ensure innovative practice puts the school at the forefront of specialist education and intervention.
We offer excellent Key Stage 2, 3, and 4 provision for young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and SLCN (Speech, Language and Communication) needs.
To be part of our team you need to be dynamic, resilient and passionate about equipping students with the skills and qualifications that will open doors for them for the rest of their lives. Experience of teaching KS3/4 with evidence of success in external qualifications is essential with experience of teaching across the age range, nurture practice and/or SEN Teaching desirable.
You may have experience of working with students who are SEMH or you may be looking for your first role in an SEN setting, you must, however, be motivated to make a positive difference to our students’ learning journey and care deeply about their wellbeing and personal development.
