There is huge potential for this area of the school and the successful candidate can expect the full support of the senior management to develop and realise a vision, including partnerships with other schools and businesses.  Initially, the role will require working with the Senior Leadership Team to design and create the department, this will involve re-designing the current workshop and computing facilities.  Additionally, to appoint a teacher to work alongside, to modernise the curriculum in these areas to create an exciting and innovative scheme of work, and help teach it.

The Assistant Head: Technology & Innovation also manages the school’s IT services, which currently includes a Head of IT services, an IT technician and an external 3rd line support provider.
