Assistant Head

Lancing Prep Worthing are seeking an experienced and able teacher who has a good understanding of independent schools to join our Senior Management team. Assisting the Head and Deputy Head, you will be working on a range of things such as management of extracurricular activities, engaging with the LPW community, as well as working with several different staff to lead, develop and manage a number of programmes.

Skills and Qualifications

• Qualified teacher
• Experienced and able classroom practitioner
• Good understanding of independent schools and their rationale
• Evidence of CPD
• Commitment shown in other areas, e.g. sports, drama, music
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organisational skills 
• Emotional resilience
• Ability to effectively use IT
